Description

This vintage BARSE set is comprised of a sterling silver pendant and matching earrings on a BARSE multi-strand leather necklace with a sterling silver toggle clasp. This set was made in the USA before the company began manufacturing in Thailand and in China. The 925 sterling silver set features a cross pendant with an open swirl design suspended from a large round bail. The Barse sterling silver earrings feature the same swirl design. The cross pendant has a 2" drop (including the bail) and is 1 3/8" wide. The earrings are on the smaller size at 5/8" long x 3/8" wide. Their drop is a little over 1" (from the top of the ear wires). Please study the photos taken next to a ruler and between a dime and a quarter coin to better understand the sizes of these pieces. The pendant, earrings and chain are stamped "C" (copyright) "Barse" and "925" (shown in the photos). The pendant and chain weigh 26.2 grams and the earrings weigh 5.7 grams for a total nice weight of 31.9 grams. This necklace set is pre-owned so shows some wear but overall it is in excellent condition. This set has a soft patina (light tarnish) so the new owner might want to polish the pieces (we don't polish our sterling silver pieces). NOTE!
