For short rifle cartridges, like the 300 Blackout, you must use a Short Trim Die Toolhead with the Dillon RT 1500 trimmer , otherwise the toolhead is too thick to facilitate the correct case length. This specialty toolhead enables you to correctly trim and prepare short rifle cases on your RL/Super 1050.
